Well just to start off I have to say that I kinda struggled this week in class with trying to see myself as being Post or just modernist. To be honest I just only see myself as being myself, I think that trying to label yourself as one thing or another is just a way to try and fit yourself into a category. If you think that my view is wrong please tell me but Am just saying that my views change on every topic that comes my way...I don't have the same outlook on everything that I see or hear so to say if I am post or modern is impossible to me I guess that Iam in the middle. On the other hand I do not even feel like I could say that Iam even in the middle of it all. When they talked about Heidi in class the only real thing that I could think f was it is her money and her life who cares...When it came to Tiger Woods I was mad that he would do those things.
I think the fascination with Heidi is not that she got the surgeries, but the fact that she got them when she did not need them at all. If it was someone that the general public thought of as ugly, the headlines would read Medical Breakthrough or Dreams do come true. If Tiger Woods were a rap star instead of a golfer, he would most likely be praised for all the women he as slept with.
